Analyze your network with TraceInside

Data Expert: Network Protocol Analyzer

NPA is an analysis tool for Ethernet, IP, UDP, TCP, SSL, SMB, NFS, FTP and iSCSI traffic captured with tcpdump, tshark, wireshark and other compatile tools. NPA processes collected trace data, rebuilding the embedded Upper Layer Protocols to allow for detailed analysis of all protocols present within the trace. From the processed data, NPA presents report views of the trace data. Each of views allow for detailed error, behavioral, and statistical analysis of occurrences within the trace. These views are designed to facilitate more efficient and thorough analysis of measured components.

Data Visualization: Network Protocol Topology Generator

NPTG is a lightweight utility that turns raw packet captures (PCAP files) – such as those generated by Wireshark or tshark – into clear, interactive network‑topology diagrams. By parsing layer‑2 and layer‑3 information (MAC addresses, IP addresses, VLAN tags, ARP/ND‑NDP exchanges, and routing protocols) NPTG automatically discovers hosts, switches, routers, and the links that connect them, then renders the result as a graph that can be explored in any modern browser.
